Are you struggling to reach greater success in your life? Or
do you feel like you lack the motivation or the encouragement to achieve your
greatest goals? If so, then you should reevaluate your relationships. Are your
relationships helping you and pushing you towards your goal or simply to be a
better person? Or do you feel like some of your relationships are holding you
back?
Well let me tell you this now, BEWARE OF DREAM STEALERS,
LEECHES, ENERGY SUCKERS AND NEGATIVE PEOPLE!!!
Watch this video to learn why!
My mentor has always shared with me that you are a product of
who you hang around with. If you hang out with 5 negative friends, then you
will ultimately be the 6th negative person. On the contrary, if you surround
yourself with 5 positive friends or influences you will be the 6th
positive person. Same goes for success… if you long to be successful, you have
to surround yourself around like-minded people; you need to spend a lot of time
with people who are already successful. Why? Because what better and easier
way to reach success than by learning from those who have already achieved it?
Additionally it is important to be surrounded by like-minded people who will
support you and push you towards your goals.
Your relationships will ultimately define your outcome in whatever
you do. If you want to be a millionaire, you need to build million dollar
relationships. If you want to simply be happy, then you need to spend time
around happy people. It’s simple. And yet
so many of us constantly surround ourselves around people who downplay our
successes and criticize our goals, dreams and aspirations.
I warn you, stay clear of these people!!
These people suck the life and energy out of you. If you are
around people like this, you should limit your time with them and start finding
ways to get around people who think like you and already have what
you want.
Now I am not saying that you should cut all ties with these
toxic people. Some of these people are those you really care about and who also care
about you; like your parents or siblings for example, or even your best friend.
These people are likely a big part of your life, so it is not necessarily imperative
or healthy to cut off all ties. What I am saying, however, is to limit
your time with these people. My mentor is always fond of saying, “I can spend a
couple of hours with them, but not 24 hours; I can spend a day with them but
not two days; I can spend a week with them, but not a month, etc.” It is
important to be around your friends and your family, but if they are toxic for
you, it is equally important to be around people who inspire you and motivate
you.
More often than not we have to fight for what we want, and an essential
way is to build and sustain relationships that are appropriate to our goals,
ambitions and well-being, while also protecting ourselves from negative environments. So find ways to network. You can do so by attending
various networking events and seminars that you can find online!! You can also
watch motivational videos online and read motivational blogs like this one!
This is time well spent with both people and tools that will inspire you towards achieving your
goals!
Now remember, Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich, said, “what the mind can
conceive and believe, the mind can achieve,” now you just have to find others
who also believe in themselves and who believe in you!
You can do it!! Let's go!!!!
